Barbara's Story
After graduation I attended UWGB for a year and then, on a whim, I moved to Chicago. I got married, divorced 4 years later, then had 2 kids. After 30 years I decided it was time or a new adventure.
I moved to Montana in 2002 with a now ex-boyfriend (good riddance to him!) and I love it out here. Reminds me a lot of Wisconsin but without the humidity. I retired at the end of September 2018 and moved back to Green Bay, living in the house I grew up in.
I have 2 wonderful sons, Christopher and Matthew who both live in Wisconsin - 1 in Green Bay, the other in the Milwaukee area. Christopher got married in October 2007 and he and his wife Anna have given me 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. Matthew got married in May 2013 and has provided me with 2 more grandsons - one of which is in heaven. They are expecting their third child in March 2019 - a girl.

ubsidized housing for seniors and the disabled. I am also retired as the Board chairman for the largest farmer's market in Montana with over 145 vendors every Saturday during the summer. And as if that wasn't enough I'm also retired from another non-profit organization. I enjoy making handmade cards and envelopes, photo albums, and other paper crafts, crocheting & knitting, and I got hooked on beading so I make my own jewelry, beaded bookmarks and Christmas ornaments.
Montana, is a beautiful state. There are so many wonderful historic places to visit - and it's not all in museums. The ghost towns are awesome, there's lots of beautiful scenery with and without mountains, and you can follow the Lewis & Clark Trail and see what they saw over 200 years ago.
