Barbara's Story
Life
I live in Hawaii, in a 100yr old plantation house, on the Island of Oahu. My Mom and Brother Bill are also over here.
For fun, I sell antiques on e-bay, manufacture scented body lotion and I also study sculpting under Marilyn Radzat. I am learning to create Fantasy Art Dolls. If you are interested you can view this unusual and beautiful art form simply by putting her name into a search engine. I love studying with her. For work, I am a commercial Artist for Aloha Electric Lamp Co. I paint tropical flowers, pineapples, ukelele's on hula lamps that are reproductions of the lamps popular during the 30's and 40's in Hawaii. If any one is interested in obtaining one of these handmade rare collectables, I will send you a brochure if you send me your address, or I will e-mail you a photo of the lamps.

After Graduation, I moved to Corona del Mar, and then on to Oregon in 1968. I had a son Jeff in 1969 and moved to Ashland, Oregon where I stayed for 26 years. My creative spirit led me into starting a natural foods bakery, a vintage clothing store, a fine art gallery and another son Shane was born in 1978. He will Graduate from Oregon State this year and he also has a band called 1up2down, he is 24 now. I have one grandson Austin who is 12. He is Jeff's son. Both my sons live in Eugene Oregon. If any one ever comes to the Islands, please e-mail me and maybe we can get together for some good laughs.
