Barbara's Story
Moved to Malta, MT in 1988 with my husbands job transfer (US Fish & Wildlife) and live just 3/4 mile outside of city limits. Malta is a small town of about 2100 and in the NE side of the state. I'm on a 5 acre "Gods little acre", It's not the beauiful mountains on the western side of the state but the plains. You get used to it after 25 yrs but I do miss the trees of MN.
I lost my husband of 28 yrs in Sept 2012 but have two daughters and a 2 1/2 yr old grandson here in Malta that are a great help and a son in Bozeman, MT just 4-5 hrs away.

know me, horses have always been one of my loves. I miss the foals and training them to be great horses, but sure can't do it anymore.
I've been a cartographic mapper for the USDA, dispatcher at the sheriff's office, film developer and then a CNA (certified nurses assistant) at the local nursing home, but now retired and doing whatever I want to do.
