Barbara's Story

Life Retired from ER Nursing and had been living in Austria for 6 years. Returned to St.Louis in 2003. My marriage of 36 years ended in divorce in November 2004. Moral to this is... do not get involved with former classmates on the internet! If so never agree to meet him/her! After much urging from friends I sold my house in STL and returned to Maine. working in Pediatrics at MMC for 2 years, I joined the USN Nurse Corps. I was stationed at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA from 1964 - 1968. USNH San Diego was a major receiving location for wounded and KIA from Viet Nam. This time of my life and nursing career, I will never forget nor would I trade the value of that aspect for anything else I have ever done. *See my "Back Then" photo album on this site, under my assignments.
