Life
My name is now Barbara Burns.I am on my 3rd marriage as my 1st husband died after 5 months of marriage. I had a severe stroke at 21 years of age, which left me with a bad hand & a limp, but I still finished college, had 3 beautiful children & 4 wonderful grandkids with the help of the Lord. I'm a homemaker who is a very active volunteer in church, but thinking about seeking employment. house in Illinois for 20 years with my husband, Larry, who is a security guard. Music & singing are very important in my life, especially singing for my Lord. In 2007 I participated in a Stroke Study which involved 2 brain operations; one implanting a neuro-stimulator & the other removing it. In between I underwent a lot of intensive occupational therapy. Now I have a little more use of my right hand & with exercising, I hope to regain a lot more! We'll see if I can get enough improvement so that I will be employable.
