Barbara's Story

Life After grad milby, went to TWU couple yrs, got married, couple kids,completed BS in nursing, moved to mountains in Colorado, divorced, completed my MS as Nurse Prac. Had private practice in Leadville CO for many years, politically active, worked for Equal Rights, Domestic Violence laws, etc; remarried, took early retirement 10 years ago. Also recovering addict/alcoholic - sober for 20 years. Now spend winters on Valiant 40'sailboat, diving, whale research, fishing offshore. Summers in Colorado and visiti...Expand for more
ng kids, two grand kids,and my mom in Houston. Married now for 12 years to Steve,a retired firefighter and fisherman/sailor deluxe. Life couldn't get any better! Update: Now: mom in Houston passed 1 year ato, sober 30, married 20, retired from sailing, living in Tucson, have land yacht AirStream Chablis in Colorado - Grandkids about out of school, life is good - daughter breast cancer survivor, husband prostate cancer survivor - and the beat goes on! involved in geneaology work and finding my Choctaw family!
