Life PLEASE - if you visit my profile, let me KNOW! Just mark "Tell Barb you've been here" by the photographs...THANX! A little tap on the shoulder goes a long way! New changes, so a new bio. Will Celebrate SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY with Tony this June. We had a mini celebration of our 1st Valentine date 29 yrs ago! Yea, ok, enif mush already! Alicia, 20, still fabulous, now a 2nd. yr. sophomore beginning Spring midterms at CAL and enjoying college life. She's just far enough away from home, but close enough, just in case. AJ, has turned 16 (gulp), passed his driver's test on the first attempt, and wants a car (yeah, right)...did we get cars? I didn't THINK SO! Well most of didn't back in the day!! He's doing so well as a sophomore! Played football (receiver), running track (hurdles 300 highs (took 3rd overall in League Finals, 400, 4x400) still early. We are so proud of our two. What a blessing these two wonderful kids are, and not a day goes by that we aren't grateful. There are times that dealing with 2 teenagers, well, I'm sure you ...Expand for more
know what I mean. I'm at home, not by choice, but by permanent disability. Sidelined for life in 2003. Suffice to say, ruptured cervical disks will slow down any party. I don't drive yet, but I'd love visits (live or via email from friends of days past (and present too!)UPDATE 5/2008: WILL BE DRIVING SOON!!! Freedom once again! It's been tough, but I'm not giving up! Done to 1 cat - Puni. Chachi, my girl, had to put down a little over a month after I had another, hopefully final neck surgery. I believe she was too tired. She had seen my father thru all his illnesses and all of mine so my Chachi needed her rest. Puni's still cries if someone isn't around for her to cuddle with. Puni and Chachi were litter mates, with Puni the runt. Chachi was MomCat to her. Tony's not crazy about "the animal" (THAT'S AN UNDERSTATEMENT), but, oh well! Pudge is still here, and being the little bettas that could! I thought he's be gone by now! Do these fish hibernate?? Hope all is well with you and yours. I'd would truly love to hear from you!
