Some of you might not remember me from High School,that's because I left in our sophmore year and moved to Florida.Alot of you will remember mr more from Eldridge and E G Junior High!!! We moved in 69 to Jacksonville,Fl. It was during the intergration period there. I hated it!!!!! During the first few days of school while riding on the bus I noticed that we went right by a group of kids that went to the school but we didn't stop to pick them up? This confused me and I made the mistake of asking why we didn't stop?That was the beginning of the end for me as the white kids wouldn't talk to me and the blacks we to afraid to. I saw fights like you wouldn't beleive and even the teachers turned a blind eye towards it!! I was appalled and couldn't wait to get out of school!! Which unfortunatley I quit as a junior. From there I met my first husband and we married in 70. He was in the U.S. Navy so we traveled alot during the next 5 yrs....Expand for more
