Barbara's Story
Life
I am retired and living in St. Charles, IL. I am in an apartment for Independent Seniors. I have been retired since 2/02/02. I sold my house to my son and moved to St. Charles in August of 2006. I like where I am. I still keep in contact with some of the people I taught with at BA. I also keep in touch with some of the teachers at Chavez. In fact quite a few are from BA.
I am taking Graphic Design classes at Elgin Community College. I am considering going for an Associates Degree in Graphic Design.

three grandchildren and two more are on the way. My husband died of cancer in Novermber of 1994. I was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2007. I had surgery and hopefully the cancer will be gone. I will know what my treatments are when I see the oncologist at the end of August.
I really wonder about all the kids I taught and wonder how they are all doing. I had my "home kids" and my "school kids". I want the best for all of them. I would love to hear from the kids I taught and knew. Let me hear from some of you.
