Barbara's Story

Life My Spouse We met at a party at Boston University in my senior year - 1968. My husband retired from the National Weather Satellite Service a few years ago. He now teaches college math and does some consulting. My Kids My older daughter is married and is a construction estimator for a large construction company in Washginton, DC. August 2004 and is an administrator for a commercial real estate firm. I have a 6 year old granddaughter. My Job After teaching music for 15 years, I changed careers and became a technical writer and webmaster. After working for the Smithsonian, I retired in November 2011. I volunteer, am learning how to play the guitar, and spend lots of time with my granddaughter.
