Life
My Family
My son, Andy, is 34 and married to Wendy. My first grandchild, Alyssa Hope, is 5 and Jacob Henry is 22 months. They live at Lake Norman, about 35 miles north of Charlotte, NC. Twin daughters, Karen and Jennifer are 31. Jen and husband, Jon live in Denver, CO and are teachers at Mountview Elementary in Aurora. They are the parents of Ruthie, who is 2 and Gabriel who is 2-1/2 months. They are also mommy and daddy to Hirschel and Gertrude, their Pointers. Karen lives in Providence, RI and is a researcher at RTI International. She telecommutes to Boston. Karen and Michael have been married for almost two years and are the "parent" of Petals, a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. My mom and dad are still going stron...Expand for more
g. They live in an independent living retirement home, not far from my brother, Rick in the western Chicago suburbs.
My Job
I "retired" in 2005 and moved to Nashville, TN. I've been doing lots of photography - digital of course - and enjoying that very much. With my kids all over the country, I make several trips a year to visit.
Myself
I've been a widow since June 1999. I do volunteer work and I'm an avid cross-stitcher amd knitter and was a collector of Boyd's Bears. Now that I've moved to Nashville, the bears have gone into hibernation until I can pass them on to my grandchildren. In 2004, I met a wonderful man on JDate. We are now together in Nashville. Barry is a photographer and writer and was born in London.
