My Spouse
I met Bill in 1960 at a dance at the Rose Garden Ballroom in Pismo Beach. He caught my eye immediately and the rest is history. We would have celebrated our 58th anniversary on June 3..
My Job
In January 2003 I retired from my position as Lead Labor Relations Specialist with the Internal Revenue Service. I had been in Labor Relations for 18 years. After retiring, I did volunteer work for the Red Cross working in the office and as a disaster team member assisting families struck by disasters with shelter, food, clothing and counseling when needed. As my husband's health deteriorated, I had to take leave from Red Cross and am now involved in the Greater Fresno Parkinson's Support Group as their Treasur...Expand for more

Bill and I have 3 sons age 51 to 57, 2 grandsons aged 24 and 12, and granddaughters aged 10 and 12.. My mother passed away in 2011, and still lived in Porterville in the same house I grew up in so I was in Porterville on a regular basis and I witnessed the changes in Porterville over the years. My sister Judie (class of 1962) lived in Conyers, GA and passed away suddenly in November 2006; my brother Pete (class of 1963) lived in Memphis from 1992 until he passed away in 2013. My youngest brother Glen (Class of 1966) lives in Vinita, Ok.. Although Bill had Parkinson's and dementia for a number of years, and life was sometimes a challenge, we were blessed. Bill passed away in 2018.
