Barbara's Story
holy cow, what i've done?
it seems i have lived several lives already.every one somewhat different from the last. i finally got the get up and go and went to college,i have a daughter who's married, and a grand-daughter, and i have 3 fab kids at home. i have been a single mom through the course of the years .but
the extra excitement in my life outside of the kids is my free lance work in photojournalism and journalism :)
i graduated with an associates degree in digital media design and have had some of my photography published.
i hope one day to have my work on the cover of a publication.
i love what i am doing. too bad it took me so many years to find this avenue :)

i need to put this extra little post script here:
i thought it would be interesting to list my elementary schools. i actually attended 5 different elementary schools due to my family moving around before settling in south milwaukee in 1969. i did attend rawson elementary for a short time until the city changed the zone lines and switched me to parkway in the fourth grade.

ss to say as a young child i always felt like the outsider and the newbee, i had a terrible shyness, thus i was an easy target per se for the bullying personalities.
some may remember me as an awkward kind of kid, some may remember me as being kind of weird. i used to cover my shyness and fear of others with a goofiness that could be a bit embarrassing at times :)
i happened to be one of those kids that gave in a bit easily to peer pressure,thinking it would help me to "fit in". much to my demise it didn't. if i did anything that may have caused anyone to feel badly about themselves, i sincerely apologize.
through the course of the years i have learned to enjoy the sound of my own drums and am comfortable with the unique personality that has developed from within.
funny thing, out of the five elementary schools i attended, only one now exists, and that is the one i was at for i think only about a month...lol...
just as i have through my life ventures, you will always find me, skippinthru at the place that sounds like m&m's. feel free to drop by :)
