Life After graduation I attended Kaskaskia College and obtained a certificate in Cosmetology (something I wanted to do since the 5th grade). I worked in the salon for ten years in Salem, during that time I went back to college for general studies, and office skills, also took some Travel/Tourism classes. I left the salon in '97, to land a sales position at Radiac Abrasives selling grinding wheels and Abrasive products, I was there for almost four years,during this time I met my husband Tim Bailey (SCHS class of '88) and we took off to USVI and were married on the beach at Magen's Bay, St. Thomas (1999). While at Radiac I was laid off twice and the final lay off made me decide there was not any future in industries, I witnessed too many good employees lose there jobs after many good years of service, this was in 2001.
