Barbara Jean's Story

Life My husband, John and I and our three youngest children moved to New Hampshire in 1977 and I'm still here. The town where I live is small with under 1000 population. It is a very close knit town as in every one knows every one's business. But they are always "there" when needed. Ten-pin bowling was my great pass time and activity for many years until the back didn't cooperate any more I gave it up for reading. For more than 20 years I operated a pet store and had two at one time for a period of 5 years. MY husband died in 1987 and I had to give up the store that I had to travel over an hour one way each day. My youngest boy was only 15 and needed a "litt...Expand for more
le" more attention. I have been working for a Senior Center for 6 years as the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator. It's a greaat place, only 4 years old, and the "old" people here do not seem old at all. Many come here for meals every day. We also have an adult day care. Besides meals coordinator I also teach oil painting. Also plan day trips and longer ones. Ones coming up: Bermuda and Sedona, Arizona and Hawaii in 2006. I had 3 children from my first marriage to Warren Knight, and 3 from John Natola. I now see what I missed as an only child!! Ten grand children, another due shortly, and four great grand children. Contact me. I'd love to hear from you.
