Barbara's Story

I am the third on the right in the photo. This was taken at my nephews wedding and the other three are my younger sisters and great nephew. I left Illinois 27 years ago and am now living in Kentucky with my husband of 28 years. After getting my "Associate Degree in "Medical Administration" I worked in the medical ins. field for about 11 years and then I chose to go back to school and become an licensed property and casualty insurance agent, specializing in personal coverage insurance. I enjoy family time and going back to Minonk to visit often as time allows. Most of my family still live in Rutland (2 sisters) and Minonk (Mom) and Dana(1 sister). Seeing old friends and keeping in touch is nice. I would love to hear from my fellow classmates and even those special friends I have not forgotten, from Flanagan and Pont...Expand for more
iac. I enjoy traveling and camping and cooking and my favorite vacations are being spoiled on a cruise ship. I love Florida, specifically Key West, and think everyone should go there at least once. I love to collect old dishes, troll dolls and 50's-60's odd and ends and cookbooks are a passion. I love to read and scrapbooking is a passion that I enjoy sharing with my scrap group, who wouldn't enjoy cutting up paper can playing with crayons and colored pencils again? I have had several projects published and spend a lot of free time designing pages for several groups. I would love to hear from former classmates and friends. I have been fortunate enough to have been contacted over the past few years by some very special friends and it really is fun to look back on those good old days and yes even the "What If's".

I use just a small amt of glitter to make the snow more realistic although you can't see it here.
This is made using my Cricut and doing a double layer. I did a white one for a wedding shower that was really pretty and didn't get a picture of it but Martha said it was a hit.
