Barbara's Story

Probably no one will remember me, I was pretty deaf and had buck teeth so that made me the school weirdo and freak. I had surgery that corrected most of my hearing when I was 21 years old and I no longer have buck teeth--I have no teeth so that took care of that! I liked to play sports, but wasn't on any team because I had no transportation. I took Spanish from Mr. Hall who was also one of my favorite teachers. lligraphy from, really made an impact in my life. Other than some awesome teacher's and the fact that I loved to learn, my high school years were pretty traumatic for me, so I don't even know why I signed up for this. I hope everyone has had a good life and that they like who they are--I do. I have 3 kids now grown of course and 8 grandchildren, so my life is pretty awesome now, and other than needing a little more money to survive wouldn't change a thing in it:)
