Barbara's Story
Lived in Pittsburgh until 1993 when I married my husband Howard who was in the US Army. Moved to Germany then to a few posts in Virginia. After 32+ years he retired from the army and went to work for Sears Headquarters and we moved to Naperville, IL then Batavia, IL. Now he is completely retired and it was time to move back to Pittsburgh to be with family again. Love it. We now live in West Deer Township in Gibsonia, PA.

ore I moved to Germany. I worked as a volunteer coordinator in the army community and in a hospital lab in Chicago. Most recently I worked for a market research firm and had fun traveling on assignments. But the most fun I had was when I worked last year as a TV extra on both Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. I will miss doing that now that I am in Pittsburgh.
I'm blessed to have 2 great children, 2 awesome stepchildren, 3 wonderful grandkids and 1 very active great-grandchild. I am looking forward to reconnecting with friends from Pittsburgh again.
