Barbara's Story
After leaving Pittsburgh to attend Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, I went to Mexico where I met and married a Costa Rican. I moved to Costa Rica where II have lived ever since, give or take some intervals in New Jersey, Florida and Grand Cayman, BWI. I have been divorced for many years and, although I was on the verge of remarrying twice after that, I never did.
My three grown children also live here in Costa Rica. Two have families and one is single--a Down syndrome boy who is great fun. My daughter gave me two grandchildren and my other son did also. bilingual private school (preschool, primary and high school levels) where I am still on the board of directors.
I live on the outskirts of the capital, San Jose, with my unmarried son. We have a big house, 3 dogs and a large garden complex.
Tennis is my favorite sport and I play regularly at a local club where I also work out 3 x weekly. I also find traveling and socializing to be lots of fun and really enjoy being with friends and corresponding by e-mail. I keep up computer correspondence with several classmates from Dormont High School. We have a great time..
I still play the piano occasionally and love to go dancing. I am trying to learn how to paint and work the computer. Keeps me hopping.
