My Spouse
I went to kindergarten with his sister, Mary Lou Tyne. I have known John since then. It has been great having a close friend be part of our family. It was doubly hard for me when Mary Lou died in April 2007.
John has retired after many years as an Operating Engineer working in the Chicago area. He knew Chicago inside and out and could give a wonderful tour of the city to visitors !
We have retired to the country. We have 3 acres outside ...Expand for more
Cincinnati. We are just over the state line making us officially Hoosiers. No large animals, just dogs and cats. We both love it ! Having deer walk through the back yard, seeing a pileated (like Woody) woodpecker at the feeder, and having to stop on the road while a mother turkey hurries across with her brood of chicks delight me. Seeing an adult American eagle swoop down to grab breakfast from the river took my breath away. We've both become "country" !!
