Barbara's Story
Life
Nursing School. Worked in Labor and Delivery, Recovery Room and finally, my favorite, Operating Room. Quit and got married to a man with 4 children, Brooke age 20 mos, Seth age 4, and Jen and Rich age 7. Raised them all. Went back to school in 1985 to get BS in Psychology. Graduated 1987. l Psychology Doctoral Program at ASU in 1988 and got PhD in 2000. During grad school, worked full time in OR, took care of Mom with Alzheimer's. Have been at St. Luke's since I got my PhD. Specialize in medical psychology. Have a Rottweiler and 5 cats. Kids are grown and I have two lovely granddaughters. That about sums it up!
