Barbara's Story
As the girl who felt blessed every day with a great loving and supportive family, lots of old friends who were more like family, very supportive in the really bad times of their lives and always there to offer hope in their darkest hours, that she loved with all her heart and soul even when it meant pain came with it, that continued education is never wasted and always valued, honesty and integrity are important even when people dont believe you. that Marriage, Family, God, are things to put efforts into and not money or fame.she gave freely of herself and her heart to all those she had contact with. she liked old fashioned, the classics. she adored her sons, Russell, Daniel and Samuel, and grandchildren. she respected her elders, wanted to make the world better by teaching others without judging or preaching. wanted to pass through without causing any pain to others.respected others and life.was grateful for all the love and support she received through out her life from all directions.she enjoyed great musi...Expand for more
c and loved to sing, she loved to design and sew clothes, embroider, crossstitch, enjoyed arts of all types, thought her sisters are very talented..loved to garden, beach, mountains, rainbows, read, read, read, liked to hand write letters and cards instead of texting or emailing.feels it is in danger and about to be a lost art of communication. loved holidays. all of them. especially Christmas, the traditions she shared with her sons, candlelight services, a beautiful tree,(thanks Sammy for the time putting on the lights one by one) etc. she believed in being an informed voter and not just going with the crowd.that speaking up when you see something wrong is the right thing to do even if it falls on death ears. to love unconditionally is the only way to raise children. teach right from wrong and then step back and let them grow but continue to be there when they ask for love and support. she loved to cook, bake and feed her family, friends and neighbors. The family that prays together, stays together, amen.
