I am a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, or "niila myaamia". My family also traces back to the Wea Tribe (related to the Miami, Kaskaskia, and Piankashaw).

I have been involved with the museum since 1997, working to help create a pow wow, special exhibits and expand understanding of native history to locals and visitors. I am an artist, a communicator, a teller of stories- a writer. Now I am the Director of Education & Public Relations for the Frisco Native American Museum.
