My Spouse
We met in band at Panhandle State College.
My Kids
Our son is married and is working as a computer specialist for a mailing service company. He and his wife have a son who is almost 5. Our daughter is also married and has two children, a son, 5, and a daughter, 3.
Workplace
After graduating with a Bachelor's of Music Education from Oklahoma State University, my first job was working as a waitress for three months at Paul's Place, a steak house on the south side of Stillwater. They were the longest 3 years of my life! (Yes, I meant to say years!) :) After that I got a job as a secretary working in the Agronomy Department. Engineering Department for a few months before working as the Secretary to the Department Head of the Psychology Department for the next five years. At that point, we moved to Minnesota where I took some time off to stay home with the kids. Eventually, I went back to work at Kelly Services where I worked for several years before accepting the position of Secretary to the Principal of a middle school that I helped open. After almost nine years, I took a position working at a financial services firm where I worked for only 10 months. At that point, I returned to school for a Masters of Divinity. Since 2001 I have been a pastor in the United Methodist Church and was ordained this last spring (2007).
