School Since graduating from high school, I have been married twice. My husband, John, and I have been married for over 34 years. Between John and I, we have five daughters and nine grandchildren. Throughout the years, I have taken college courses and eventually acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from St. Mary's University. When John and I met, he was working at the Prairie Island Nuclear Plant. In 1973, I secured a position as an engineering assistant and we became the first husband and wife contract engineering team in the Nuclear Industry. We worked as a team for over 10 years until the Nuclear Industry collapsed in the mid-1980's. John continued working in Nuclear while I moved on to a career in real estate which eventually evolved into interior decorating.
