Barbara is from Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Here's the nickel tour:
Well, I went to Univ. Wisconsin Madison, then got married & moved to Penn State, graduated then moved to San Antonio TX where I was a children's librarian. Went to grad school (Penn State again), was a writer for 15 years w/ the Am Dental Assn in Chicago (wrote a Charlie
Brown cartoon but no all-American book), got divorced, bought & repaired 3 old homes, learned programming & became a database mgr & consultant. I took a vacation at Club Med (Paradise Island, Bahamas). Met Charles Caswell on the 1st night, got married 4 months later & moved to San Francisco. In 1996 I retired & we moved to AZ to be with my mom. I volunteered at the AZ Humane Society - love those kitties! & the local politic...Expand for more
al causes. I have lived in San Antonio TX, Univ. Park PA (go Nittany Lions), San Francisco (go 'Niners'), and AZ (love those ancient ruins too). We have traveled to Paris, Prague, the Netherlands, Germany, and London, cruised the Nile (saw really ancient Egyptian pyramids & the Sphynx (which has a tail! There is still bright paint on the inside of the "ruins"). Back home we took an Amtrak train trip (visiting family) from Chicago to Albuquerque to LA to SF to Seattle through Montana to Milwaukee back to Chicago & AZ meeting lots of interesting people. We have been to the Louve & love local art fairs. We've had a wonderful 35 years of marriage. (Time flies). Now we are retired & mostly visit doctor's offices.🤨 Hope to hear how everyone else is doing.
