Barbara's Story
I will soon be embarking on a new journey of retirement -- I can't believe it is here already! I have had a wonderful career in corporate America for the past 40 years, and left as VP of Marketing for a large company. The study of Marketing became my passion, having worked for so long in this field, and for the past few years I have been an Adjunct Professor teaching Marketing at a few different colleges in the area. d early on in our marriage, we had chosen to remain child-free, since I found that I was missing the "motherhood gene" . We own three homes and enjoy very much our lifestyle, spending time in Florida and the Hamptons, when not in Garden City NY.
I lost my Mom & Dad over the last 7 years and miss them every day, but am hugely grateful for the time that we had with them. I am still very close to my brother Ray and sister Mary Jean and we get together often, since we all live within a 45-minute radius of each other.
