Life I have two great kids. I am constantly on the go, but very proud of what I have accomplished on all levels. If you knew me - drop me a line! My AOL screen name is barbieporter. School I didn't stay in one place too long - that's for sure. From Kindergarden through 2nd grade I went to Central Islip public schools, but by 3rd grade my parents pulled me out in favor of The Hewlett School in East Islip. I think seeing police cars and ambulances almost daily at C.I. High (which we lived behind) may have been a slight factor. I went to Hewlett from 3rd through 7th, when we moved to Huntington. While I loved Hewlett, I really wanted to be in a "bigger pond", so I begged my parents to let me go to Huntington schools from 8th (Finley) through 12th. Summer camp was also a big part of my life back then.. from age 4 to 10 I went to Trailblazer's Day Camp... which I believe is now townho...Expand for more
