Barbara's Story
well for starters in 1948 i started kindergarden at Burns Valley the teacher was mrs or miss I don't remember O'conners. we made a record "I'm A Teapot" My dad Eldon Mr. Lamson drove the school bus that went to the Clearlake Park. Until about 1963. When he moved to Redwood City.  My junior year I lived in Jacksonville, fl. Coming back to good ol' Lower Lake High for my senior year 1961.  The day after graduation I moved to San Francisco. Lived around the bay area for a couple of years. Met my husband at Lower Lake when they added the classroom in '61. '65 we moved to Burley, Idaho. A small town in southern Idaho where the trees are gone in place of farmland & rolling hills. My husband drove truck for awhile & I was a waitress. In '65 we had a boy and in '69 we moved to Nampa, Idaho near the capital city of Boise. Where we had our 4th child a girl & last I might add. There is still very few trees for this area is still farm land but have gotten used the dessert and being able to see a 100 miles & love it. But now the farmland is disapearing in place are houses. When we moved here there were only 30,000 people and now there are over 80,000. That doesn't count the 5 or so cities in this valley they call tresure valley.
