Barbara's Story

Life Hi everone! After graduation I went on to WMU, and graduated in 1979. Moved to Cincinnati in June of 1982. I was a travel consultant for about 6 years and travelled the world. I worked as the travel consultant to the Cincinnati Reds for about 2 years. My first few years in Ohio were very exciting. The most exciting was meeting Mike, my husband. We meet on Halloween, 1982. and were married in Nov. 1983. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by watching our daughter get married in the same church, to the same music, 25 years later. Wow, how cool is that? Mike is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin, and got his MBA from Xavier University. He has been with Luxottica for about 15 years, working at the the world headquaters here in Ohio. We buildt our dream home in 1990, and have been here ever since. We have two wonderful children. o is 22, and my daughter Rachel, who is 20. Both are the light of my life. Evan has graduated college, and now working for BMW. His hobbies are playing his guitars, hanging with friends and cars. My daughter, Rachel is now married and living far away in Georgia. I miss her so much. She has her nursing degree and her new husband is in the United States Army. She is spending quality time with him until he deploys to Iraq. :( We spend most of our vacation at our condo at Lake Lure, NC. The most beautiful lake in the country! I was a stay home mom for 13 years. I now work full time at a local hospital, as a unit coordinator on the Labor and Delivery floor. I love it! Please email me! at basketbarb at aol.
