Barbara's Story
After CHS I attended one year at SUNY Alfred. After my first year, lost my Dad and step-mother in an accident so I quit school and went out on my own. Married Syd Anderson in 1972 and we're still married :) We have 3 sons (Mike is USCG Sr. Chief, Ret, Nick is a Bedford Firefighter/EMT and Ryan is a HS math teacher); 4 grandsons, (Cameron 14, Liam 10, Lukas 6 and Martin 3, Our youngest son is in the process of adopting ...Expand for more
two brothers so soon we'll be the grandparents of 6 boys, they are 9 and 13. We live in Bedford MA, about 14 miles NW of Boston. No daughters, but I do have 2 female cats :) I earned my Bachelors in Psychology/Sociology from the University of Massachusetts and retired 7-1/2 years ago from the Human Resources Department of Middlesex Community College in Bedford MA. Enjoying retirement and love to travel. Life is good.
