Barbara's Story
Life
I graduated from Frayser High School in Memphis, TN in 1955 after attending high schools in Yazoo City, MS, Eudora High in Eudora, KS, Lexington High in Lexington, IN, & Charlestown High in Charlestown, IN.
In 1958 I received a BS degree in education from Memphis State University. While there I married James Moore, a pre-med student from Arkansas. We had 4 children, but lost our firstborn son in 1978.

we moved to Denver, CO. I taught elementary school for awhile before I took over his office management full-time until his death in 1983.
While working full time in the health care field, I received a national award for an unpublished science-fiction novel in 1989 and later another award for a short story. My budding writing career ceased when grandchildren started arriving and I was sorely needed by my family.
I now live with a son and his family and am a nanny for several grandchildren.
