Barbara's Story
As outgoing as I appear, at the end of my teaching day I'm ready for some quiet and privacy. I've loved teaching Spanish for 23 years now, with the first ten rewarding years in Bilingual History and Math. Gary Waters would fall over laughing, we were horrible at math in Preppernau's class. My husband, children and grandchildren are the delights of my life and we spend as much time together as we can. le Elum after 14 years together. I now teach at East Valley H.S. Rick & I love to travel, own a timeshare week in Mexico, and often visit our five kids and 12 grandkids--spread between KY, GA, TX, WA, & CA. As in high school, God is still my center and light. I've seen some tough years, as many of us have I'm sure, but my faith has seen me through. Wishing all of you peace with your past and enjoyment of the years we are blessed to still have. I missed our 30th as I was still in school, but I won't miss the next one--see you at the 40th!
