Life 7.5 more years to retirement (this coincides with paying off house in 7.5 years). Aerospace/mechanical engineer with the government for the last 20+ or so years. before that design engineer in private industry. Aikido, bicycling, Scottish Gaelic, and sometimes classical guitar playing are my passions and pasttimes. Now add to that: Triumph owner and enthusiast. 3 grown kids from 1st marriage. Been remarried now for almost 19 years. 1 grandchild, and 1 dog and 1 cat. Update: Retired in May 2014 after almost 35 years with the government. Another grandchild, Married 28 years now. Have recumbent bicycles and 2 Kayaks (The garage is jammed packed wall to wall and the ceiling is holding the kayaks!). House paid for and have only only one debt- the 2011 Prius-but paying that off rapidly. Been collecting Social Security for almost a year now. Wife will start hers in Febuary 2015.
