Life
After Sequoia, I went to Stanford (BA '57) and then Johns Hopkins (Ph. D. '63).
I am currently Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Portland State University, where I teach decision psychology, decision analysis, and conflict resolution. I've written a number of articles and five books. However, the only thing I've done that you might have heard of is design the original prioritization process for the Oregon Health Plan. naldecisions.net. A professional version of the software should be coming out soon.
I married Aliki Ganiatsos in 1961, and we have two children, Delia and Erik.
Our travels have taken us to Baltimore for 3 years, Greece for 1 year, and Boulder for 2 years.
Sports have included backpacking, running, and sailing, though I do less of all of these these days. One of my favorite "collections" is of experiences sailing a variety of boats, including a spritsail rig, a Polynesian proa, a sharpie, a Beetle Cat, and a brig, in addition to the usual sloops cutters, and ketches.
I also speak Swedish and a little Greek.
