barry's Story
graduated from Pitt in 84 in dec, went to work in Hills dept store as a loss prevention manager in Jan 85 at york Pa then was hired as a corrections officer at Lancaster county prison in december 85 , where I'm still employed. wife #1 wanted to stay in PA so out of my options for Hills i wanted to go to Tennessee . never did get out of state. retiring as a corrections officer in January 30 ,2020 after 34yrs and a month and 21 days. ,which didn't happen because i fell during trail run and dislocated my shoulder, went...Expand for more
out sick leave and retired with 33 years and 6 months on June 14 2019 . Have run numerous 5k 1ok 15k and 25k races on roads and trails ,35 half marathons and 5 marathons and several triathlons. currently on third dog since i bought this house 25 years ago . I call her wife # 2 lived with her year and a half it was 12 days before marriage, we got smart decided this wasn't going to work and split up. now retired , do different bike trails, run and kayak. went to Key west for 65th birthday and ran a half marathon .
