Barry's Story

I moved to Nashville after high school and played music a while till I figured out musicians don't have pensions. Went back to college and got degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering while working for the CBS television affiliate in Nashville. Got married and went to work in California for Sandia National Labs in 1981. Met my current wife Sheryl at Sa...Expand for more
ndia and remarried in 2001. I moved to New Mexico in 2006 after being promoted to Deputy CIO at Sandia. I live just east of Albuquerque in the mountains with my wife Sheryl and my two french bulldogs. My 20 year old son Spencer lives in Chico California. I am on the executive committee for the International Supercomputing Conference and am the General Chair for SC10.
