Barry's Story

Life When I left WHS, I went to UMBC and graduated in 77. It was there that I meet my future wife, Holly. I then went to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and when I graduated in 80, I became a United Methodist Pastor. I served churches in Carroll, Frederick, and St. Mary's County. Now, I serve Bel Air UMC, in Harford County. I retired in 2017, I have three children and three grandchildren and would love to hear from old classmates! ...Expand for more
Still have great memories of Music Man and Kiss Me Kate! My daughters were involved in Young Life, like I was. I've run into Mr. Blackwell a few times. College UMBC was only 15 minutes from home and I developed a great set of friends that have lasted a lifetime. Since this was a commuter school, the best place to connect was the commuter cafeteria. Was very involved in the UMBC Christian Fellowship and met my future wife Holly there!
