Life
Born in England in 1950, came to Canada with my family in 1954, lived in Toronto and Elliott Lake, Ontario, until 1957, then a year in Montreal. Back to England for 3 years, and then to Montreal again in 1961. Grades 6 and 7 at Iona Ave School, grades 8-11 at West Hill. Moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick, in 2002 to work as freelance editor; married (for the first time) in June 2003, wife Laurie, no kids. Moved to Laurie's hometown of River Hebert, Nova Scotia, in 2013. Interests: music (my grandfather was a songwriter in the days of the British Music Hall, or what Americans call vaudeville), travel, trivia, cycling, genealogy; cats (we have 3); also run a collectible vinyl record business.
