Barry Wiseman:  

Life After high school, attended Abilene Christian University. Studied music, but majored in fun. After FINALLY graduating there, I hung around Abilene another year before landing a job as Music and Bible teacher at Campbell Christian School in Campbell, CA (overseen, BTW, by the Campbell Church of Christ, and our mascot WASN'T the "Fighting Campbellites"! Go figure!) Before heading out west I was engaged to Marsha Jo Stone, and we were married on December 27, 1986. After teaching two years in CCS (elementary music, beginning and middle school band and choir, and 7th & 8th grade Bible), I decided to go into full-time ministry. Marsha and I moved back to Lubbock, TX, where I attended the Sunset School of Preaching (now the Sunset International Bible Institute). In 1990, our first child, Kaytlin Jo, was born and I entered into ministry as a youth minister at Woodward, OK. Our other two children are Matthew Keane (born 1992) and Elisabeth Jayne (born 1995) were born in Wichita Falls while I preached for a small congregation in Archer City. After Elisa was born, I wanted to get back into youth ministry, and we moved to Liberty, TX, for four years and then to Orange, TX, serving in both cities as a youth minister.
