Beach School parents started the Beach School Foundation in 2013. The Beach School Foundation is the only mechanism through which parents, teachers and the broader Beach School community can raise funds to hire additional teachers at Beach. For example, funds raised by the Beach PTA cannot be used for hiring staff at the school. 100% of the funds raised by the foundation go to full-time employees at Beach School. Making a donation to the Beach School Foundation sends a loud message of support to our children, our teachers and our neighborhood. Beach School has a tremendous staff that is carrying the weight of deep budget cuts by the legislature in Salem.
