Becky Barnes:  

Becky is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Feeling like a teenager again, she recently reconnected and is in a relationship with her first love from her teenage years. She attended Hamline University (Psychology, Sociology, Minor in Social Work) and the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine where she earned her Masters in Social Work. Always the student, she is upgrading her skill set to learn medical coding at Rochester Community and Technical College to keep herself out of mischief in her "silver years". She also hangs out on a senior campus where she adores the warm pool and her young friends in their 80s and 90s. She worked at Hennepin County, Minnesota. for many years in Adult Mental Health. Using her lived experience, she volunteers with NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) for family education and support. SA/VE (Suicide Awareness and Education) is also a cause near and dear to her heart. She's been blessed with four children (3 living and one spirit child) and 4 grandchildren that she adores.
