Becky Moore:  

Having attended West Milford High School in New Jersey, my freshman and sophomore years, we moved to Monroe, Michigan where I graduated from high school in 1966. I then attended Grand Rapids Baptist College, in GR, Michigan where I met Paul Moore who was in his 2nd year of seminary. Paul and I were married on July 30, 1967 in Lakeland, FL. I attended GRBC for my sophomore year of college while Paul finished seminary. After Paul's graduation, he went into the Navy Chaplain Corps in Jan of 1969 and our first duty station was in Charleston, SC where we lived until we moved to Cherry Point, NC in 1971. Our first son, Scott was born in Dec of 1971. In Nov of 1973, Paul was sent to Okinawa for a year and I moved to Lubbock , TX to be close to my family while Paul was gone. Our next duty station was Subic Bay, Phillipines where our daughter, Kerri was born in Aug of 1975. We moved to Kingsville, TX in Aug of 1977 and lived there until Aug of 1980 when we were transferred to Gulfport, MS. We went from there to Newport, RI in Aug of 1982 for Paul to attend the Advanced Chaplain School. We were then sent to Wash DC in July of 1983 and Paul was a chaplain at Arlington National Cemetary until Sept of 1986. We lived in Stafford, VA while stationed there and our third child, Timothy was born at Bethesda Naval Hospital in July of 1985. We were transferred to Okinawa, Japan in Oct of 1986 and lived on Kadena AFB. Our youngest son, Matthew was born there in May of 1988. W...Expand for more
