Life
Boy where has all the years gone? Its 2001 and almost our 30 year reunion.Time flies, especially if you find yourself becoming your parents, acting like your parents, looking like you parents. You all knew me as Mapu, or Mapuana Dano, most of you from Waiahole Elem. School, that is.Work for awhile before be sent off to Hartnell college in California. Enjoyed it there, but found that college wasn't all I wanted to do, so worked three jobs, went to school, and expanded my horizons to other activities. Found that Hawaii was the best, because people here are more family oriented, with more aloha. Came home in the 80's worked again, till God presented me with my husband. We got married in 90's, found that life is only worth when you find that everything you have is because of God. Attending Pacific Bible Institue to step forward in my serving for My Father in Heaven. For without Him, I would not be here today. No Kids...but I always would say God bless me with one, my husband. ...Expand for more

Workplace
Since leaving Castle High School, I have drifted from job to job, finally settling at living in Monterey, California for three years. Unfortunately since my mom was suffering from illnesses, I flew home on a wimp, not leaving here since 1980. From there I worked at Pineapple Hut as a retail sales person, to Times Supermarket as a cashier, then finally ending up at Hawaiian Electric as a meter reader. Now this was a great job, because I worked outdoors, rain or shine. I loved it! Unfortunately due to an accident while on the job, that rear ended my vehicle I was driving. I was left with disabilities that limited my abilities to do even everyday chores or living. But God has been so good to me, by blessing me with such a great spirit to strive further than I have ever been. Now I am attending Pacific Rim Bible College to seek a future in touching lives and hearts as a Pastor for the LORD! Who would have thought of such a things from me????
