Belinda's Story
Life
Married 33 years with two sons, 25 and 22 - work at Miss State, 26 years and am looking forward to retirement someday - I hope soon. I am busy and life is good!!!
I always wanted to be a coach when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were way off.
Take advil and sleep off the anger! But also speak my mind!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, Dr Pepper, and my smokes to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gail Ashmore, because we were good friends and I wonder where she is today..
Obsessed with my children and their success in life and their happiness!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the bedrooms and add on a bath and bedroom. My dream home would be what I have with a little more room and another bath..
I have learned that life is short...that you chose your battles with them and you much always love them for who they are and not what YOU want them to be.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to St. Jude's, t...Expand for more
hen spend the rest on savings, the boys and update the house..
My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be really old. I was so completely right - ha!.
I have worked at Miss State Univ. for 26 years, I am looking into retiring and doing what I want for a change...not tied to a time clock!
My best friend would tell you I'm loyal and caring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as standoffish.
Jeans, t-shirts, or shorts in the summer...casual always. Layed back!
I share my home with my husand, two sons, my baby dog and a cockatiel, which I find mostly good and secure.
Just old trophies from high school, packed away in boxes. Nothing new.
In 10 years, I hope to be a grandmother. I'm going to get there by the grace of God, my boys seem to be slow at chosing a mate.
My oldest friend is Gwen Brooks Perkins, we met when we were 4. She lived on one side of the cotton field and I on the other. We clicked because we were both precotious and loved playing outside. We were buds and had so dang much fun.
