Belinda's Story
College
I went to University of North Texas for a few years but I never finished because I married my high school sweetheart. After a few years of marriage I went to a community college for a degree in interpreting for the deaf, but became pregnant and never finished. When the baby was older I went and finally earned a certification as a paramedic. I'm divorced and now I am in school in Houston to finally finish my degree in interpreting. I have give up on the medical field.

During college and after I worked with Mentally handicapped adults for several years. First at Skyview Living Center,then at Denton State School both on and off campus. After earning my paramedicine certification I worked at Denton Regional Hospital for awhile before moving to Houston. I worked at a cardiologist office for eight plus years but am tired of the medical field so I am trying something new. I work part time for my church and will start back to school in a few weeks
