Belinda's Story
Who am I, I was the girl who never seemed to be in school much. I started up in White Center going to the elementary School in the projects. In kindergarten my mother died leaving me and my two younger sisters Pam and Diane Tveit.
We moved to Marysville for a year and then to Georgetown for the second grade. I was there the majority of grade school up until I was sent to the North end of Seattle to Ryther Children's center. My grandparents were over whelmed raising 3 young girls. I came back and went to Asa Mercer this time I was sent to juvenile and then to Maple Lane Reform school. I dropped out of Cleveland the youngest senior I was 16 and in the graduating class. The counselor would not let me work because of my age and I ran off. That was a brilliant idea I was emancipated at the age of sixteen and a mother at seventeen. Nothing I am too proud of. Though with all statistics I beat the odds my daughter is a Chiropractor in Phoenix AZ, who goes to Mexico on mission trips with medics to help the needy. My eldest son is a medic in the Air Force, in Nebraska, and my youngest son owns his own business on Vashion Island. I am the grandmother of four beautiful children and I give God all the Glory. He is what made the Change in my life.
I truly was a mess in school. Good with grades talented in music. But eaten up with self hatred and guilt over my mothers death. I am thankful for a great friend who's prayers and love prayed me into the family of Christ. I am a born again Christian. I serve a living God and over came drugs, self hate and a lot of other sins to become a Nurse, Truck driver and now I am at 54 returning back to nursing with the help of my Lord and Savior... So those of you who have the Mercer year book you will see me as the girl who was at the Nurses office the most..lol
Thanks Dorlynn for being my friend all these years. We didn't turn out to bad..No matter what they say about the Georgetown girls.lol God Bless all Belinda

king as a Nurse for the past year and last night I found my self singing something I had not done in some time. I was known as a girl with a song both of my friends reminded me that. How they always remember about me was my singing I was glad to hear my song back.
Blessings

Life is going on I look back and now it is 2009 October at that over two years since I joined Classmates and I thank all of you who have reached out to say Hi. Especially those who have said " You were always nice to me." It makes me feel good inside to know that I left good memories to others, Thank you Durwin and Linda those words mean much to my heart.
Blessings to all,
Christmas time 2009..
I thought I would be going to Nebraska but looks like I will end up staying home expense and weather are the major setbacks but I am not down trodden. I spent Thanksgiving at the Nursing Center I work at. Funny when you watch an 84 year old women going out on a date with a 95 year old man and both as nervous as if the were in their teens.
Love is never too late it is always right on time..
Merry Christmas to all My friends and anyone who passes this way

We are now finaling out the first month of 2010. Already excitement has hit our home.. My husband's tractor trailer was blown over in Maryland that is right the wind just pick up the rig and blew it onto his side. Blessings are that he was not hurt. Minutes prior the turn over he had fastened his seat belt.
We have gone thru a couple of freezes here and all is well. Looking forward to the summer and the warmth that it brings. Have my youngest sister here many may remember her from Beacon Hill
She was Dianne Tveit. She is a hoot, I love having her around now. It is hard to think how I hated her tagging around when she was a kid. How time changes our perspectives.
Well until later.
Just an up date on Christmas my older children spent snow filled days in Nebraska and had lots of fun I will post some pictures of all soon.
