Sept. 29, 1962 I was the fourth victim of a gang assault by 8 to 11
fellow GIs from the 41st and CCA, in front of the mess hall.
I went over to investigate an assault on an E-5 and was attacked because the leader thought I called him a name. 3 fractured ribs, ruptured spleen, 5 whole pints of
blood (no external bleeding). 2 hrs
later in the Augsburg Mil Hosp. had
major exploratory surgery-removed spleen, lost and revived me twice.
Out of body experience. So I have
lived and died and am alive.
Great experience- takes more than
11 GIs and had no anger, hatred,
or vengeance --TOTAL FORGIVENESS -
It was not their fault they were in a strange land, with no social life, training, discipline or leadership.
At Ft. Ord they said,"Hope you get Germany and not the 41st Inf, for it is the worst unit in the entire Army. They were 100% correct.

1990 UT Health Science Police Dept. 2001 retired at Canyon Lake,TX;Aril 2006 50th Class Reunion met Janice Simmons after 50 years and were married May 2006. God saves the best for last.
Workplace
Had 29 different jobs. When heard, they say"your not very dependable". Yes I am. I've always arrive 30 min early and usually leave 30 min after my 8 hrs.
Initiative is one of my better qualities. It is where you empty then trash even though it is not your job, but because it is full. And you do it with out being asked or told to. I enjoy doing things that need to be done.

Mayor & City Councilman of Missouri City, TX. Shut down sub-division developer of Quail Valley violating city ordinances
and county laws. Stood up to Vincent, Sears & Elkins law firm, Southwestern Bell & Houston Light and Power.
They didn't know what to do with a ditch digger who read the law to them at public meeting and wouldn't backup, back
down or budge. Stood toe to toe and the news didn't print one word or speak one word on radio or TV. Too bad they don't tell all the truth so voters may vote with knowledge.
Real Estate salesman, the Broker and owner/instructor of Glenn Jackson/Loyal Leonard's Training School of San Antonio -Real Estate & Insurance Exam Preparation.
Put out of business by Tx Education Agency for teaching more in 16 hrs than any 90hr education program and destroying RE & Ins commission's failure ratio.

Lucky for me no one wants an elected official that IS NOT A POLITICIAN or someone that reads the law and enforces the law to protect the taxpaying property owners.

series and "The Brawl" with Jackie Chan.
RETIRED with 6 acres of trees, rocks and a small canyon.
