Ben's Story
After high school I moved to Texas. Got married and joined the United States Air Force and worked as a vehicle mechanic. Stationed in Illinois and Alaska. After five years of the Air Force I left and moved back to Texas, worked on deep sea fishing boats out of Galveston for four years and then started working on Offshore crew boats that serve various ports in the Gulf of Mexico. orking for the Houston Pilots as a deckhand and have moved up to operator of their boats. Love every minute of my job regardless of what the weather is doing. It's not everyday you can go to work and see the sunrise or set and watch Dolphins and Pelicans in their natural habitat. I'm not enclosed in a cubicle nor do I have to sit in traffic that often. I am married with two boys one who will be attending OU and the other is going to join the USMC.
