Ben's Story
Any time someone asks, "How are you doing?" My standard reply is, "Living the dream." I was able to retire at age 57. I didn't retire from something, I retired to something. What is that something? To have the freedom to be more fully in control of what I get to do each day. Some days it might be taking a long walk with my golden retriever. Other days might involve speaking to 130 orphan children in Pakistan at 4:00 am via zoom. Still other days might be tightening up the word count on my latest manuscript or mentoring a new beekeeper with checking their bee hives.

estion. What exciting and motivating have I done in the last six weeks? Why six weeks? Do you remember what came out every six weeks at Riverside? Yep, report cards. They were to show how well you were doing. If you don't have anything exciting to share for the last six weeks of your life, then change your story! Today starts a new six-week period.
Spend time with someone that needs to be encouraged-a grandchildren or aging relative. Volunteer for a cause you align yourself to. Go out and take on the world with as much zeal as you can muster like you are fighting for a state championship. Graduates of the Riverside High School class of 1979 can make a difference in their families, their communities, and world.
